ULFA C-In-C Continues Relationship With ISI, China

Anti-talk faction group of United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) c-in-c Paresh Baruah has continued close relation with Pakistan intelligence agency ISI and China.

The report was revealed by Mrinal Hazarika, a top leader of pro-talk ULFA.

Hazarika told IBNS that, ISI and China have been providing funds to ULFA’s anti-talk faction group.

“Paresh Baruah was presence in meeting with top officials of ISI and China intelligence, People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in various occasions,” Hazarika said.

The c-in-c of the outfit group was in close relation with ISI since 2001.

A top ULFA leader revealed that a group of the outfit group including five central committee members went to Pakistan in 2002 for training of explosives.

For presence of the Interpol’s most wanted terrorist, Hazarika said Paresh Baruah had set up few camps in Myanmar including East Nagaland, Sagiang province with the help of NSCN (Khaplang).

“After the crack down in Bangladesh, ULFA transferred its all camps to Myanmar. In past two years the outfit group had set up few camps in Changlang, Tirap, Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh,” the pro-talk ULFA leader said.

“But some new camps have been set up in Bangladesh soil headed by top ULFA leader Dristi Rajkhowa,” Hazarika said.

A top source of Intelligence Bureau (IB) said recently Paresh Baruah’s presence is relocated in Taga and Ruili area in Myanmar.

Meanwhile, the outfit group had recently changed its money transferring policy.

ULFA has collected huge fund from coal traders of Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya.

“The outfit group also regularly collected extortion funds from traders, government officials,” a top official of Assam police said.

Recently, a local news channel of Assam had published a sensational news that a cabinet minister of Assam government had paid ULFA.
