Morningstar Confident With Five Straight Wins
Diphu: Morningstar FC Diphu is continuing its winning spree with 4 straight victories in the Assam State Premier League which kicked off at Diphu earlier this month.
The team representing Karbi Anglong district will play its fifth match at its home ground against Rhino FC Golaghat. In the last match, Morning star overwhelmed Barikuri FC Tinsukia by 6-0 last Wednesday in crammed Karbi Anglong Sports Association stadium played under floodlights. The straight wins of Morningstar have almost ensured its second round berth in the ASPL.
The team powered by three Nigerians and star players of Nagaland, Manipur and former Assam captain of 2007 National Games, Guwahati Sanjiva Rongpi have remained triumphant so far.
