Guru Nanak Jayanti Celebrated At Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, New Delhi

Guru Nanak Jayanti was celebrated across India this week. In New Delhi, a huge number of people visited Gurdwara Bangla Sahib.

The Sikh Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is the most prominent Sikh house of worship in New Delhi. Surrounded by the “Sarovar” pond within the complex, it is associated with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan. The pond water is considered holy by Sikhs, known as “Amrit.”

The beautiful golden dome and tall flagpole can be seen from a distance. It attracts many people.
