Bicentennial of the Great Poet Bhanu Bhakta Celebrated in Nepal

International Nepali Literary Society (INLS) celebrated the bicentennial of the great Nepali poet Bhanu Bhakta Acharya on July 13, 2013.

The conference presided by the President of the INLS Litterateur Kamala Prasai and was participated by the various literary figures of Nepali language including its central committee members and some distinguished guests.

The conference unanimously adopted the resolution which stated to highly value the contributions made by all who helped promote and protect Nepali language and literature.

During the conference, the speakers highlighted the Great Poet Bhanu Bhakta Acharya’s contributions and praised him for his efforts uniting Nepalese through Nepali language. Great Poet Bhanu Bhakta Acharya’s poems and stanzas of his Ramayana have been recited by the participant literary figures.
