Presentation of Credentials by Pakistani Ambassador Raja Ali Ejaz to Saudi King Salman

Riyadh – At a Ceremony held at Al – Yamamah Palace, the Custodian of two Holy Mosques King Salman received the Credentials of Ambassador of Pakistan Raja Ali Ejaz.

The King welcomed the Ambassador to the Kingdom. He wished him success and hoped that he will play a leading role to further enhance the relations between the Kingdom and Pakistan. He also conveyed his best wishes to the leaders of Pakistan.

The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of Pakistan’s leadership to the King. Highlighting Pakistan’s close ties with the Kingdom, and the recent successful visit of the Crown Prince to Pakistan, he assured King Salman of Pakistan’s continued support.

Prior to his appointment as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Raja Ali Ejaz, a career diplomat, was Consul General of Pakistan to the US, based in New York. He started that position on 21st January, 2014.

From 1991 to 1992, he was Desk Officer for South East Asia & Pacific. From 1996 to 1998, he was Desk Officer for India. Between 2004-2006, he was Director in the Office of Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Before moving to New York, he served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad as Director General (United Nations), from January 2013 to January 2014.
