Pakistani Embassy in Saudi Arabia Celebrates Pakistan day

Pakistan Day Celebration

Riyadh – The Embassy of Pakistan, Riyadh, celebrated today the national day of Pakistan. A flag hoisting ceremony was held at the embassy. Chargé d’affaires, Mr. Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmad raised the flag.

The Chargé d’affaires commended the Pakistani community in bringing honour to the country and realising the dreams of the founding fathers to attain glory for Pakistan.

Messages of President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan were read out by Mr. Ahmad.

The President’s message included, “We are committed to democracy, justice, and peace. We have incredible capabilities in terms of human and natural resources. Our aim is the attainment of a modern democratic state that was envisioned by the founding father Muhammad Ali Jinnah”

“We are endeavouring to make Pakistan an Islamic welfare state. We are resolute in creating a society that is based on compassion and where people are free to pursue their aspirations, without being subjected to any discrimination,” included the message from the Prime Minister.

A large number of Pakistani community members attended the ceremony expressing their love for Pakistan.

Last week, King Salman received the Credentials of Ambassador of Pakistan Raja Ali Ejaz, in a Ceremony held at Al – Yamamah Palace.

In welcoming the Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, the king wished the Ambassador success and conveyed his best wishes to the leaders of Pakistan.

The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of Pakistan’s leadership to the King. Highlighting Pakistan’s close ties with the Kingdom, and the recent successful visit of the Crown Prince to Pakistan. The Ambassador assured King Salman of Pakistan’s continued support.
