Go Now: Daytime Emmy Noms for Outstanding Younger Actress

Hello, I’m Garrett Godwin, and welcome to a special edition of Go Now at Newsblaze. It’s time for the nominations for Outstanding Younger Actress of the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Are you ready?

Here are The Nominations for The Outstanding Younger Actress in a Daytime Drama:

Jennifer Landon (Gwen, As The World Turns)

Rachel Melvin (Rachel, Days of Our Lives)

Vail Bloom (Heather, The Young & The Restless)

Emily O’Brien (Jana, Y&R)

Tammin Sursok (Colleen, Y&R)

Predictions: Bloom is on her way to be one of the rising stars on Y&R, as her character strived for justice more than once, but faces an ethical and moral dilemma when one case involves private investigator Paul Williams, her birth father.

Snubs: Majority does rule, as insiders believe that Kirsten Storms (Maxie, General Hospital) should’ve been nominated for her emotional performance, as her bad-girl character lashed out in front of people over the brutal death of her onscreen sister, Georgie (Lindze Letherman).

Well, that is all the time we have here. But don’t forget that the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, broadcasting live (except on the West Coast) on next Friday at 8pm on ABC. Tickets are still on sale now.
