‘El Chulo De La Manana’ to Feature Ernesto Perez and Lupillo Rivera as Guests

What: The popular TV and radio show “El Chulo De La Manana” hosted by the talented Joaquin Garza will interview the regional Mexican music icon Ernesto Perez, better known as “El Chapo De Sinaloa,” about his most recent projects. Additionally, in another special edition of “El Chulo De La Manana,” the talented music pioneer Lupillo Rivera or “Rey De Las Cantinas,” will discuss his experiences and accomplishments he has achieved over the years in the music industry and his upcoming album with host Joaquin Garza.

Who: Ernesto Perez was born in Badiraguato, a beautiful area in the Sinaloa region. The word “chapo” is a very common term among the people of Sinaloa. He chose “El Chapo” as his nickname in order to identify himself among his people in the artistic world. In the last fifteen years, he has created twenty albums and he has won the love of his town, which to him is the best reward for his hard work and tenacity.

Equally important, Lupillo Rivera was born in La Banca, Jalisco, but lived most of his life in Long Beach, California. His last album “Tiro de Gracia,” is a band-type production where different types of rhythms are mixed. Lupillo is considered a high quality artist among the regional Mexican genre. He is a very perseverant artist and a successful innovator of new tunes and rhythms that he thinks his fans will enjoy. His voice has made him a classic, sophisticated performed and at the same time, contemporary. His exceptional style in stage has won him the most privileged spot in the regional music world.

How: Joaquin Garza-El Chulo, along with his sidekicks Raul Bernal, also known as the ever popular “Dona Mela,” and Denise Garcia, who offers a hip female point of view, will talk with the two greatest music icons of their genre.

When: The “El Chapo de Sinaloa” episode will air on “El Chulo de la Manana” on Monday, January 19 from 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. (EST), 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (PT). And the Lupillo Rivera episode will air Tuesday, January 20 from 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. (EST), 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (PT).
