LAHORE: On Friday night, a US diplomats’ vehicle hit a motorcyclist in the Blue Area of Islamabad, the Pakistani capital.
Two diplomats were inside the vehicle when it hit the motorcycle from the back side. Police seized the vehicle but let the diplomats go as they had valid documents which showed that they enjoy diplomatic immunity.
According to police, the incident took place in the Kulsoom Plaza Chowk of the Blue Area when Miss Melody struck a motorcyclist from the rear.
The motorcyclist got injured and was immediately taken to Poly Clinic Hospital whereas police took the diplomats to Kohsar police station where they were allowed to leave after the checking their diplomatic documents.
