At least three people were killed in a road mishap at NH-37 near Guwahati on Saturday morning, police said.
The incident took place at NH-37 near Azara, on the outskirts of Guwahati on Saturday morning, where a speeding truck hit another truck.
“In the road mishap, three people including two drivers of the vehicles killed were killed on the spot,” a top police official said.
The deceased persons are yet to be identified.
Assam roads are dangerous, with many crashes causing fatalities.
