Ahead of the next general election, BJP national president Nitin Gadkari on Saturday claimed that BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will come back to power in 2014.
Attending in a party meeting of Assam state unit in Guwahati, Gadkari said corruption is prevalent and the UPA government has involved in the corruption row.
“I am confident that NDA will form next union government,” Gadkari said.
The BJP national president accused the UPA government of failure to implement the programmes and schemes, which was launched by the previous NDA government headed by Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Ahead on assembly polls in Tripura, Manipur and Nagaland, BJP has prepared new policy and hopes for better performance after its poor performance in last assembly polls in Assam.
“Party has prepared documents especially for Assam and other northeastern states,” he said.
Gadkari asked all party leaders and members to work hard as they look forward on the next Lok Sabha election.
The BJP national president inaugurated the new party office of Assam unit named ‘Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan’ at Hengerabari in Guwahati and attended a party meeting during his two day-long visit.
