Srinagar, July 5: The former Chief Minister of Indian administered Kashmir Mufti Mohammad Sayed Tuesday said the government has victimized a whole generation of youngsters to create an unreal surface calm in the region.
Addressing party workers in South Kashmir, Mufti said the present government in Kashmir has victimized a whole generation of youngsters to create an unreal surface calm. “While the people had given a peace yet another chance, which helped revival of tourism and business, the government had failed in learning from its failure. More than 5000 boys have been framed in false cases while hundreds are in jails,” he said.
He said Indian government was avoiding addressing Kashmir issue. “Until aspirations of people are not addressed, the solution will elude the Kashmir issue and I believe the government of India is avoiding doing so. Interlocutors were appointed but what happened?” The former Chief minister told media after addressing the party workers.
He said, “I believe that within the constitution of India we have the right to agitate for it and presently we are mobilizing the people in this regard”.
