DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A suspected US Drone fired two missiles at a vehicle in Pakistan’s tribal region near the Afghan border at 8:15PM on Monday, killing three alleged militants, sources said.
Two missiles used in the attack in the Mubarik Shahi village of the Mirali area of North Waziristan seemed to indicate that an important militant was targeted. But the identities of those killed were as of yet unknown, sources said.
Earlier on Sunday, a US drone hit a car at Doga Madakhelarea near the Afghan border with missiles and killed four men.
Villagers insisted the victims were miners that were on their way to Dattakhel to work in the chromites mines.
The deaths triggered strong criticism from the tribal people.
