Iran Prepares To Execute Political Prisoners As Obama Considers Collaboration

Iran is holding four Sunni political prisoners and is using psychological torture against them. This is not unusual for the mullahs’ regime.

Last week, on June 14, four political prisoners, Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Mola’ei, Jamshid Dehqani and Jahangir Dehqani were transferred from Gohardasht Prison to Ghezel Hessar quarantine in preparation for carrying out their death sentences.

Gohardasht Prison, located in Gohardasht, a town on the northern outskirts of Karaj, 20 km west of Tehran, is known as one of Iran’s harshest jails, because of numerous reported cases of torture, rape and murder.

To make things worse for the four prisoners, the Iranians tortured the four men psychologically. On June 14, and on the following two days, the men were taken to the gallows and the noose was put around their necks. Then, at the last minute, the hangmen told the victims that their executions have been deferred until the next or following days.

Iran had recently executed PMOI member Gholamreza Khossravi and there was a secret execution of two Sunni political prisoners and Arab compatriots Ali Che Bishat and Seyyed Khaled Moussavi who were the children of people of Ahvaz.

Iranian Resistance Calls On International Community

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, once again called on the international community for urgent action to save the lives of the four Sunni political prisoners, Messrs. Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Mola’ei, and two brothers Jamshid and Jahangir Dehqani and also for Iran to end their inhuman psychological torture

“The execution of PMOI member Gholamreza Khossravi and the secret execution of two Sunni political prisoners and Arab compatriots Ali Che Bishat and Seyyed Khaled Moussavi who were the children of people of Ahvaz in recent weeks together with the regime’s criminal scheme to execute four Sunni political prisoners only demonstrates the escalating internal and external crises of this regime that has found the sole solution for postponing its certain demise in ratcheting up hangings, tortures and massacres.” – Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance

Mrs. Rajavi, citing the flagrant and systematic violation of human rights in Iran, called on the United Nations Security Council and its leaders to bring the Iranian regime to justice. She also underscored the need for the UN, the US, EU and any states dealing with the Iranian clerical regime, to condition relations with the regime on the improvement of the human rights situation.

Obama and Kerry may be considering teaming up with Iraq and Iran against ISIS, so it is unlikely they will be thinking about Iran’s human rights violations or the fate of a few political prisoners.

Calls to the UN and US are unlikely to result in anything positive, as these stories, dating back years, show no interest in the terrible things the Iranian regime is doing:
