Hamas Celebrates Targeting Israeli Civilians: Al-Aqsa TV

Al-Aqsa TV, the television station of Hamas creates a lot of propaganda. Also, Hamas celebrates targeting Israeli civilians. The enemy is always Israel, and in most of their propaganda, Israelis are portrayed as pigs and monkeys. Usually, Israelis die and there is a lot of blood.

In today’s TV propaganda, Hamas depicts itself as a victim,as they usually do. In addition Hamas continues to portray itself as the heroic killer of Israelis.

A video on Hamas TV this morning blended pictures of Hamas fighters shooting at Israel with pictures of injured Israelis and medical evacuation scenes.

These visuals include pictures of skulls dripping with blood, captioned: “Let them taste violent death.” Other narrations and texts include: “Send them to Hell! Tear them to pieces!” “Send them to Hell, Qassam missile!”

There is also a voice-over throughout most of the video.

Palestinian Media Watch captured the Hamas propaganda video from the TV and displayed it because Hamas and Fatah deny having aired such content. Likewise, when they post this kind of content on Youtube, they will both remove videos later, leaving no evidence for investigators to discover. Hamas and Fatah are concerned that the EU not know what they are doing, because they use EU money to pay their terrorists and to create this propaganda.

This station has been running since January 2006, after Hamas won the elections in Gaza. The Hamas government disavows the station, saying that it is independent of the government.
