Blu-Ray Freeware Application, AVS Disc Creator Released

AVS Disc Creator 2.1 freeware, is the first free CD/DVD/BD-compliant burning software program for today’s international market of multimedia solutions. The product now demonstrates complete support for Blu-ray disc media (BD-R, BD-RE) burning.

Online Media Technologies Ltd., a British company, based in London, is a member of the Blu-ray disc Association (BDA). They have added the upcoming Blu-ray technologies to their AVS Disc Creator freeware and other software to help mu;ltimedia developers deliver the newest high-tech multimedia.

The new release of AVS Disc Creator is version 2.1 and sets itself apart from other standard burning solutions with an extended list of supported disc types (CD-R/RW, DVD /-R, DVD /- RW, DVD-RAM, DVD /R, Double/Dual Layer) and overall improved simplicity.

The software allows you to backup data onto high-capacity Blu-ray discs that save on storage costs, enhance the protection of important data and simplify storage procedures.

As well as Blu-ray features, the latest version of AVS Disc Creator introduces broader burning capabilities packaged in the same simple interface. Everyday burning routines can be automated by saving compilations as projects. In addition, the multi-session feature allows you to easily burn multiple backups on one disc, import a new session, add or delete new files and folders from the existing burning session or edit it irrespective of the software that was used to author the disc previously.

A specifically designed burning engine allows for the burning of data at the highest speed possible.

The software runs under Windows 2000/XP/2003 and is available in French, German, Italian and Spanish, is distributed free of charge and has no trial periods, limitations, adware or spyware. The software is available to download from the company’s website at http://www.avsmedia.com
