The Change Is Near. I have always felt it. Consider all the Individuals around the World who are initiating positive change. “Mind Without Fear” is a Call to Action written by Shri Rabindranath Tagore which has inspired me since childhood towards this Change.
It just got me thinking about The “Man” who could live with such ideals. “Would it be a heavy burden on his life or a call for freedom that was meant to be? Would someone in today’s world be able to survive without hypocrisy? Wouldn’t it be alright to live with irresponsibility & callousness, lack of Integrity, not worrying about the truth and working not for perfection but for short term gains acquired at all costs, personal or otherwise with money as the only goal not withstanding the repercussions or consequences of such an action?”
Some would call this the dark path. But this is where the world seems to be heading. In my opinion, there are only a few individuals left in the multitude who can think and act for themselves and most of them keep them out of the “muddy pond” so as not to get dirty.
Then there are a few who “know the consequences of their actions“ and in the quest for power become part of the problem rather than the solution. The final few heroes fighting to rescue themselves and directly or indirectly supporting “The World” are struggling against a formidable foe.
The foe is – ability against in-ability, merit against fear, strength against escapism and irresponsibility! Those few are outnumbered unless we choose to join them in their battle and “Become the Change” at our level.
WHERE THE MIND IS WITHOUT FEAR…A CALL TO ACTION AND PRAYER

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is led forward by thee
Into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.
I would suggest switching the second last word from “country” to “World.”
I look forward to thoughts on this article because this just doesn’t concern a particular community but the entire World. If we as a species have to learn, evolve and grow into a Peaceful, Merit Based Civilization, its about time we pulled up our socks and took responsibility for everything that is going wrong with our planet because we are allowing it to happen in our Country and The World!
It is time to step out and take action.
