Stage Nine Auditions ‘And Then There Were None’

Stage Nine Theatre and Allen Schmeltz Productions announced today auditions for the play “And Then There Were None.”

The Agatha Christie play “And Then There Were None” is a thriller by the queen of mystery, that gathers assorted guests to a weekend in a remote island castle, invited by an absent host.

Directed by Maggie Adair Upton, expect excitement and fun that builds to a classic Christie finale, as the unsuspecting guests are murdered, one by one, in various and gruesome ways.

Auditions begin Monday, August 3 at 7 Pm, with call backs Tuesday, August 4. The auditions consist of cold readings from the script and you should bring a headshot or photo and resume.

Production dates for the show run Friday, September 25 through Sunday, November 8 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM and Sunday matinees at 4 PM.

Rehearsals begin Monday, August 17 and continue Sundays through Thursdays from 7-10 PM.

Fred Narracott, boat taxi captain – 40-60

Vera Claythorne, secretary – 20’s

Philip Lombard, adventurer – 30’s

Anthony Marston, wealthy playboy – 20-30’s

William Blore, con man – 40-50

General Mackenzie, retired soldier – 50-60

Emily Brent, spinster – 40-60

Sir Lawrence Wargrave, shabby gentility – 40-60

Dr. Armstrong, doctor – 40’s
