Each year, Sierrastyle Publishing’s Folsom Family Expo and Wellness Festival holds a “vendor night” where businesses can visit the vendors and get to know other business owners.
Folsom Local News was there, with our camera, recording short “Meet the Business” videos and talking about ways to work together. We already have relationships with several businesses exhibiting there and we made new friends.
Before interviewing, I quickly looked around the Expo to see who was there, and got held up at the Bamiyan Afghan Restaurant Booth. I love Afghan food and they had a great eggplant dish, which I had to sample – it was very good. Find them on White Rock Road, El Dorado Hills, near Latrobe Road.
The businesses we interviewed were: Folsom H2O, Stem Tech, Golden 1 Credit Union, Periwinkles Gifts, AFLAC (quack quack), Unique Impressions (body art), Stem Tech, Innovative Compounding Pharmacy, Lisa Sophia Jewelry and Simms Chiropractic.
Sage Daily, with STEM Tech has some amazing skin health products, I loved the wine glasses at Periwinkles Gifts and Sue Hosier Made the AFLAC duck talk to me. Annette Humphries showed me the airbrushes she uses to create beautiful temporary Body Art and Verce Azarito talked about his healthy products at Folsom H2O. Kimberly Montgomery showed her beautiful Lia Sophia jewelry,
I also talked to Anna Rashidi, a Compounding Pharmacist, who makes up your prescriptions in almost any format – and flavor you desire. Can’t handle tablets? get gummy bears instead!
