Citigroup Worker Commits Suicide Leaving No Trace of Foul Play

Jessica Fashano, 27, an analyst with Citigroup since graduating from Georgetown University in 2005, didn’t leave a suicide note at the 40 story luxury high-rise on Riverside Boulevard-Upper West Side, New York, on Saturday.

She had been taking medication for depression according to police sources.

“Jessica was an amazing person with such a big heart, a beautiful girl, with a contagious laugh and a willingness to give back,” said Michelle Javian who had been friends with Fashano since Georgetown.

“She just had everything someone could want to be successful,” Javian continued.

Fashano’s jump from such a height led one witness to say the sound of the impact was ‘so loud I thought part of the building was falling.’

Police do not suspect foul play. Friends and co-workers remarked that she was always in high spirits.

A Citigroup spokesman stated the firm was “deeply saddened” by Fashano’s death.
