Why Are Congress Ratings So Low?

Why does the U.S. Congress rate so low in polls of the American People? Could it be that they don’t appear to be trustworthy?

One measure of that comes in the number of reported court convictions of those in the Legislative Branch.

Of course there are other reasons such as the fact that people who vote democrat do not like Republican politicians, and people who vote republican feel the same way about Democrats.

In a fair poll, that makes it almost impossible for most people involved in politics to get a positive rating more than 50%.
