On Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, TGIM (Thank Goodness It’s Monday) met to enjoy indie films in consideration for the 2013 Fort Myers Film Festival (FMff) in Fort Myers, Fla. at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center.

The event began with their Social Hour, where drinks were available from 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., and the indie short films soon followed.
In addition, the evening brought guests together to enjoy intellectualization with comedian Scott Thompson, Alliance for Arts director Lydia Black and columnist Roger Williams.
Evening’s Hosts and Entertainment
The event’s host and co-host were Eric Raddatz and Melissa DeHaven. The musical guest was Freedom Hall.
TGIM screened two locally produced films “Land of the Dead” (5 min) by James Klynn and “The Family Business” (5 min) by Don Reynolds.
Art Enthusiasts
Those in attendance were able to see how films are selected for the upcoming film festival.
Drinks and intellectualizing were had by all from the indie community.
