The United Film & Television Artists (UFTA), in Fort Myers, Fla., wrapped a comedy film called “Casting.” The film is currently in post-production.

“Casting,” had been in pre-production since early 2013.
Their shoot locations were in Naples and Fort Myers, Fla. The main shoot location was at a talent agency called Protocol Models on the Gulf in Naples, Fla.

BEHIND THE SCENES
According to the film’s rep, Director of Photography Ernesto Lasso de la Vega and his assistant Adam were the main crew.
This was Lasso de la Vega’s third film project.
There were other talent who wore more than one hat as well. Steve Barnett and Joe Reyes were among them.

“Our film is a short, and we only needed to shoot over one weekend. The first day of shooting was held at Geri Muck’s agency, Protocol Models on the Gulf.
Geri was so nice to allow us to shoot at her office She is a talent agent and ended up playing one in the film as well. She was great!” – UFTA Treasurer Carrie Belluso

UFTA is a non-profit organization. “Casting” is produced by UFTA, and the group meets every second Monday of the month. Their next meeting will be to discuss its present stage of editing and future film premiere!
