Anne Martin Rolke, Sacramento Food Blogger says she is interested in the buzz surrounding Corti Brothers. She says the store “Feels Different” to other stoes.
Corti Brothers is a single store, not a chain and is unique to Sacramento. Rolke said Corti Brothers have always been a big supporter of the food industry in the area. This was borne out by the caliber and the number of chefs from area restaurants, who came out in support.
Rolke made the point that “A lot of people didn’t realize what they had until it was going to be taken away.”
Controversy swirled around Corti Brothers after their long lease was not renewed and the location was to be taken over by the “Good Eats” food chain. Local foodies got together to protest the action and corti Brothers has at least a temporary reprieve.
