Lars-Gunnar Nilsson has been appointed CEO of PMC Hydraulics Group, giving the Dacke Industri-owned hydraulics business a new operating leader as Mikael Lundgren moves into a chairman role.
The appointment took effect on August 24, 2026. Nilsson succeeds Lundgren, who will step down from the operational CEO role at PMC Hydraulics Group.
Lundgren will remain close to the company as Chairman of the Board of PMC Hydraulics Group, while continuing as President Power and Motion at Dacke Industri.
The transition separates day-to-day operational leadership at PMC Hydraulics from Dacke Industri’s wider Power and Motion division role, while keeping Lundgren involved in the company’s long-term direction.
Lars-Gunnar Nilsson Takes PMC Hydraulics CEO Role
Nilsson brings more than 25 years of experience leading international industrial companies, with a focus on engineering, manufacturing, system solutions and global OEM customers.
Dacke Industri said Nilsson drove profitable growth, business transformation, operational improvements and international expansion across multiple markets.
Most recently, Nilsson served as President and CEO of PanLink, where he led a multi-site European organization serving customers in rail, industrial automation and electrification.
His previous leadership roles include Textron GSE, Safeaero and PartnerTech, giving him experience in industrial operations, customer-focused business development and leading organizations through change and growth.

Mikael Lundgren Moves to Chairman of PMC Hydraulics
After several years as CEO of PMC Hydraulics Group, Mikael Lundgren will move from the operational role to chairman of the board.
The move allows Lundgren to remain involved with PMC Hydraulics while continuing his broader Dacke Industri role as President Power and Motion.
