Dacke Industri Rotork Divestment Adds M&M Instruments in Italy, Midland Flow in UK

Dacke Industri Rotork divestment pushed further into industrial flow control, adding an Italian valve maker and a UK solenoid valve and instrumentation business to its Air Technology platform.

The group said it acquired 100% of Rotork Instruments S.r.l. in Italy, to be renamed M&M Instruments S.r.l., and 100% of Rotork Midland Ltd in the UK, to be renamed Midland Flow Ltd.

Dacke Industri Rotork Divestment Targets Air Technology

Dacke Industri said both companies will join the Air Technology business area within the Air and Mechatronics division.

The group said the existing leadership teams will continue to run the businesses.

M&M Instruments in Bergamo makes solenoid and piston-actuated valves

Dacke Industri said Rotork Instruments S.r.l., soon to be renamed M&M Instruments S.r.l., designs and manufactures solenoid and piston-actuated valves for commercial and industrial flow-control applications.

The company operates from Bergamo, Italy, employs about 40 people, and reports annual turnover of about EUR 8 million, Dacke Industri said.

“Joining a solid group like Dacke Industri, with its long-term vision, represents a significant opportunity to consolidate our achievements and accelerate our growth trajectory,” said Flavio Coscia, CEO of M&M Instruments.

Midland Flow in Wolverhampton supplies solenoid valves and instrumentation

Dacke Industri said Rotork Midland Ltd, soon to be renamed Midland Flow Ltd, specialises in solenoid valves and instrumentation for demanding industrial applications.

The company manufactures products under the Midland-ACS and Alcon brands and designs 316L stainless steel control equipment used in industrial control systems, Dacke Industri said.

Midland Flow operates from Wolverhampton, employs about 44 people, and reports annual turnover of about £7.5 million, the group said.

“Joining Dacke Industri marks an important step forward for our facility, offering a stable foundation and shared vision to build on our achievements and advance our growth ambitions,” said John Turner, CEO of Midland Flow.

Air and Mechatronics Expands Flow-control Reach in Europe

Dacke Industri said the two acquisitions expand its flow-control portfolio and strengthen its position in key European industrial regions.

Dacke Industri is owned by Nordstjernan and said it now counts 33 subsidiaries across four divisions, with about 1,900 employees and net sales of about SEK 4.9 billion.

Dacke Industri Rotork divestment puts two established valve and instrumentation businesses into the same business area, with the group aiming to build customer value through collaboration across the Air Technology platform.
