UVA LIDKÖPING chief executive Kenneth Carlsson will lead the Dacke Industri Precision and Protection division from 1 January 2026, adding a group-level role to his existing position at the grinding specialist.
The move follows Dacke Industri‘s decision to rename and clarify its four divisions and to organise them into business areas that reflect technology and markets. Precision and Protection covers precision mechanical systems, safety-oriented solutions and service-driven businesses with international footprints.

Carlsson will continue as CEO of UVA LIDKÖPING while serving as President of Precision and Protection at group level.
UVA LIDKÖPING is a worldwide supplier of high-precision grinding machines, with more than 10,000 installations and a history that stretches back 150 years. Dacke Industri brought UVA LIDKÖPING into the group in 2017 and later expanded its grinding footprint in North America by acquiring CNC North.
Carlsson’s earlier leadership roles include positions at AP&T, UMV and as Managing Director of REC Indovent. His experience spans engineering, manufacturing and industrial technology businesses, which Dacke Industri sees as important for the division’s next growth phase.
“I am proud to lead the Precision and Protection division as Dacke Industri takes further steps toward a clearer, more strategic structure. With our international focus and strong expertise in precision technology and safety solutions, I look forward to working with the team to develop our offering and strengthen the division’s role as a reliable partner globally,” says Kenneth Carlsson, President Precision and Protection of Dacke Industri.
Group CEO Lars Fredin says Carlsson’s broader remit supports both the new divisional structure and the group’s long-term plan.
“I am pleased to welcome Kenneth as the new President of our Precision and Protection division. With his experience across multiple industrial sectors, I am confident that he will make a great contribution to the continued growth and success of the division. I look forward to continuing to work closely with Kenneth and our teams to drive further development and deliver even greater value to our employees, customers, and owners as we continue to develop Dacke Industri,” says Lars Fredin.
