Guwahati, June 12: A women was killed and a businessman injured during unidentified miscreants attacks in Guwahati in past 24 hours, police said.
“A three members group attacked the women, identified as Yasmina Begum in her house at Maskhowa area and managed to flee after looted cash and ornaments,” a police official said.
After the incident, high officials of Guwahati city police had rushed to the spot and launched a search operation to capture the miscreants.
In addition, a businessman, identified as Rajkumar Duggal was injured, when miscreants attacked him in his electrical store at Fanchi Bazar area in the city and looted rupees, 2 lakh cash on Monday night.
The injured businessman was admitted to the local hospital.
