Assam : Three persons injured in blast
A powerful explosion in Assam’s Hailakandi district on Sunday evening injured three people, local police said.
According to reports, the incident took place in Shivbari road in Hailakandi town, in front of the Bank of India office.
“Suspected militants triggered the explosion in which three persons injured,” a top police official said.
The injured were identified as Saidul Rahman, Mehbub Hasan and Krishna Chand. All three were rushed to the nearest hospital.
Top police and army officials were sent to the area to start an investigation.
