President Abbas, Tear Down The Incitement

It was 1987, and Ronald Reagan was president of the United States, a conservative. Mikhail Gorbachev was the leader of the Soviet Union, a communist. On June 12, Reagan challenged Gorbachev, standing at the Brandenburg Gate, near the Berlin Wall that separated Communist east Berlin from West Berlin. Reagan said, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”

At the time, Gorbachev was General Secretary of the Soviet Communist Party, and he had been working to increase freedom in the Eastern Bloc through “glasnost” (“transparency”) and “perestroika” (“restructuring”).

Reagan challenged Gorbachev to take more positive action, to show he was really serious.

Prior to this, the Communist regime isolated their people and controlled their minds. For many decades the Soviet people did not really know what kind of life existed beyond the Communist iron curtain.

When Reagan spoke, the people acted and the iron curtain came tumbling down. The Soviet Union fell apart and the people behind the curtain tasted freedom.

Inciting The Enemy Within

Since the Six Day War of June 1967 Israel has been dealing with her Arab enemy, the “Palestinians.” Israel gained these people along with the territory taken back from the illegal Arab occupiers. These Arabs reside in Israel’s midst. Over the years, assisted by what many of us think to be Israel’s mistaken policy, these Arabs caused Israelis much death, mayhem and anguish.

The Arab – “Palestinian” leadership constantly incites the young generation of arabs to hate Jews and Israel, to want to go to war with Israel and destroy the state so they can take back the land they lost but never was theirs, and to kill the Jews.

They do this to control their people and to prolong the hatred that Arabs have harbored for Jews, from time immemorial, and now extending it for the tiny land of Israel.

Just as President Reagan said, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall,” I say, “Mr. Abbas, tear down the incitement.”

Generating Antisemitism

Antisemitism is a human psychological disease that creates endorphins of hatred of Jews, and it seems to be incurable. This last major attack of this disease brought about the killing of 6 Million innocent Jews.

Let us identify what we are dealing with today.

The Arab-“Palestinians” are antisemitic, genocidal and eliminationist; they are the enemy of the Jews just as the Nazis were. The cowardly West is their collaborationist. Talking in terms of World War II, we can remember two widely different ideologies from two well-known men – the victorious Churchill or the appeaser Chamberlain.

Those who speak about establishing an Arab state, called Palestine, in Judea and Samaria, that is supposed to live in peace with Israel are thinking Pollyannaish, with unreasonable, illogical optimism. A peace loving state cannot possibly be established in a states in which people have had their minds filled with hatred and vengeance for the people they are supposed to live next door to in peace? It is an impossible task that will never happen!

Two pertinent questions to ask are “What do the Middle East countries want from themselves?” and “What do they want from Israel?”

Perfidious Albion, Broken Promises

The Middle East is a hotbed of religious differences. It is built on the foundations of ongoing power struggles. These foundations are shaky and constantly shifting. Within this shaky Middle East, G-D bestowed upon a tribe of Jews the land He promised them would be the land of milk and honey; this is the land of Israel. The foundations of all the states around Israel are unstable.

Modern Israel has managed to isolate herself from the shaky ground. Looking at the Jewish state, you can see it is thriving and advancing on all levels. Sadly, a great portion of the world is making endless efforts to destabilize the foundation in any way possible.

Anyone can see that all is not well in the Middle East. The roof and the foundations of the Middle East are falling apart; termites are eating the walls and the basement is flooded. Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq do not look any better, yet John Kerry is in the yard wanting to clean the pool, making endless efforts to “fix” Israel’s relations with the Arab-“Palestinians” while ignoring how rotten is their mindset towards the Jews.

The term Perfidious Albion seems to be tailor made for the situation unfolding right now. Wikipedia lays it out perfectly, this way, “Perfidious Albion is a pejorative phrase used within the context of international relations and diplomacy to refer to acts of duplicity, treachery and hence infidelity (with respect to promises made to or alliances formed with other nation states) by monarchs or governments of Britain (or England) in their pursuit of self-interest and the requirements of realpolitik.”

Perfidious Albion is how the world treats Israel, holding her to one standard that no other country is subject to. Agreements previously made and signed, are ignored, confirming the world is not Israel’s friend, and Israel no longer knows if anyone will back her up or stand up for her in time of trouble. The latest perfect storm of British and American leadership ineptitude and failure sent a message of their weakness to the butcher of Damascus and the genocidal Iranian regime, leaving Israel more certain than ever that it cannot rely on anyone else.

Carrying A Dream Of Greatness

Looking back 2000 years, to the time that Jews were exiled from their land, they carried a dream with them, to return home and start from where they left off. Many Jews have not made it home yet so they continue the dream. Irresponsibly, the world simply cannot leave the Jews alone to build the land they were thrown out of and to where they returned and rebuilt from scratch. Interference comes from the Arab neighbors who hold up construction with aggressive wars, or the Arab-“Palestinians” who create chaos and mayhem and much death. Israel is forever on edge and on alert.

For 2000 years, while in exile, Jews lived in nothingness; when they arrived back in their homeland, they faced the ruins they left behind. Hardly anything had changed during their absence of so many years. Desolation was everywhere. So what the Jews did with that nothingness? They began to build greatness, the greatness that God delegated to them, as his chosen children.

I ask the world to leave Israel alone to deliver His greatness to the world. I ask the world to stop attempting to destroy that greatness. This type of evil was used against Jews for millennia. Each time their greatness excelled, evil people worked to destroy it.

In the past 65 years, Israel has gone from strength to strength and excelled and there are forces today, from within and without that work to destroy that excellence.

Reset The Moral Compass, Cut The Hatred

I speak to the world as a child of Holocaust survivors, as a Jewess, as a Sabra, Israeli born, as a mother, as a woman, as a person in anguish who sees the world falling apart because it has lost way, it has lost its moral compass. I call every person on earth to tear down the hate, the incitement, the zest for destruction. We have one world to preserve, so preserve it.

It seems appropriate to quote Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, the German writer and politician who wrote the poem, “Das Gottliche / On the Divine”

Let the noble man

Be generous and good,

Tirelessly achieving

What is just and useful:

Let him be a model

For those beings whom he surmises.
