When you really believe in the truth, in this case to tell the truth about Islam and the Arab world, and you see it your mission to deliver that truth and thus you invest all the energy you can muster to make a difference in the world, there is a rerun for your efforts. This week I received confirmation to that from Dr. Mordechai Kedar and I learned what motivates him that also motivates me.
For the last two days, on a his first time speaking engagements tour to Los Angeles, Dr. Kedar, one of Israel’s leading figure in understanding the Arab world, Director of the Center for the Study of the Middle East and Islam, research associate of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies and a lecturer in the Department of Arabic at Bar-Ilan University, Israel, has opened the eyes of several hundred audience to the facts about Islam, the Arab and Moslem world and where is this war headed.

If the Americans will not wake-up, Dr. Kedar warns all of us, in fifteen years the United States will be where Europe is today, Islamizing fast. Moslems do not immigrate to a country to become part of that country’s society fabric. They immigrate to a country to spread Islam. They bring their homeland to the country to where they immigrated with a goal to change that country to their way of life they had in their birthplace. This is the way Mohammed acted and that is the legacy he left beyond. Islam to void all other religions.
Yes, Islam has declared a war on the West. This war is not only between the Moslem nations surrounding Israel and the Arab-Palestinians and the Israelis, but a war on the entire non-Moslem world as well as a violent ongoing wars between the different Moslem factions in different countries.
Dr. Kedar’s tour began with a speech he delivered at Chabad Sola, in Los Angeles, co-sponsored by StandWithUs-SWU organization. He focused on teaching the audience how a common pro-Israel layman can defend and promote Israel to their disagreeing peers. From there Dr. Kedar, who is fluent in Arabic, gave an interview, in Arabic, to Al Karma satellite TV channel about Israel, the peace process, the Arab-Israel conflict, Egypt and the Arab world in General.
In the evening’s appearance, at the home of David Suissa, the president of the Jewish Journal, Dr. Kedar touched on the subject of Jerusalem. All what the Moslems believe about Jerusalem, he claims, is in the Hadith, which are reports of statements or actions, that were passed though ear to mouth, but claiming to belong to Muhammad, or of his tacit approval or criticism of something said or done in his presence. However, the Hadith credibility is questionable at best and can be called a lie or a figment of imagination at worst. The “fight” for Jerusalem, the city which is the eye of the storm, the center of the war of Islam against Judaism and Christianity, is based on theology only.
The following day Dr. Kedar spoke at Pastor Kevin Dieckilman, of One Heart With Israel Organization. There the audience, among them seventeen pastors, heard what the struggle over Jerusalem is all about. And Hezbollah, Hamas, and Israel- Living with the enemy. To that Dr. Kedar states that everything in the Arab world is about religion. He strongly suggests that people who do not speak Arabic and do not understand religion, and these are most of the European and USA leaders, must not get involved. He points to the dangerous triangle i.e. Al Jazeera TV network, that disseminate lies and incites about the West, owned by the Moslem Brotherhood that is s USA foe, to which Al Gore sold his TV network that can bring the Al Jazeera Media and incitement directly to millions of American homes.
Later on that day, in a meeting with the entire StandWithUs office stuff, Dr. Kedar shared a bit about himself and the other voice in the Arab world, which are the persecuted Christians in the Arab world and Moslem countries i.e. the Coptic Christians in Egypt. In alarming numbers these communities are diminishing and this process will continue till these Moslem countries will be ethnically cleansed of Christians as many of them already have been.
Dr. Kedar’s next lecture was to USC students at Chabad House, sponsored by CAMERA-Committee for Accuracy in the Middle East Reporting in America. The topic was Syria. Dr. Kedar explained how people from different tribes and ethnic groups were pushed on each other by the colonists. Now they are no longer able to put up with each other and thus they fight and separate. He believes that Syria will end up fragmented just like the USSR ended becoming so many small countries based on people having common ethnicity and culture…or the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Kedar’s tour ended speaking to StandWithUs Board of Directors and donors at their annual Hertzl dinner; at the home of Dina and Fred Leeds; the topic, Understanding the Iranians – What motivates the Ayatollahs? Basically it is the Shia and Sunni rift that motivates the Mullahs; it is also the score the Iranians want to settle with the rest of the Moslems for defeating their Persian Empire and their thrive to be an empire once again.
Dr. Kedar studied Arabic in high school and due to his proficiency of the language he was recruited to the Israeli National Security Agency where he served for 25 years, enough years to hear and learn what makes the Arab world go round. Leaving his first career he joined the Academia and we now all enjoy his wisdom and advice.
Hearing Dr. Kedar, who has a bottomless speech topics list, only convinced me that there is broad room to fear Islam. Islam is not a religion of peace, as some silly politicians and Moslem figures want us to believe. It is a religion of subjugation.
If you wish to keep the freedom you were born into, Dr. Kedar believes that if each one of us does his part, together we can win this war. If you are not convinced it is a war the Moslems have waged on all other non-Moslem people, you are living in a cocoon and I strongly suggest get out of your darkness and join the fight.
