Crossfire War – Brtish Bases Under Attack All Around Basra

Crossfire War – Tehran – Baghdad – Riyadh Watch – West Asia Theatre: Tehran – Damascus – Ankara – Riyadh – Amman – Baghdad/London – Washington; British Bases Attacked Around Basra – After Reports of Iranian Troops Deployed in South Iraq – Green Zone Attacked Again

Night Watch: BASRA – Less than a week after Debka reported Iranian Revolutionary Guards moving into southern Iraq there are reports now, from the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), that all British bases around Basra have come under rocket and artillery fire. It is also being reported a British patrol has been attacked by bomb, rocket and automatic gunfire. Regular readers of crossfirewar.com know I have suspected for quite some time Tehran did not want to see the lost alliance of UK/US leave Iraq with their units in strength and a major factor in other theatres like the Balkans. [DEBKA]

There are also continued missile and artillery attacks on the Green Zone in central Baghdad, the command center of the UK/US occupation. This is the final preparation before war with Iran becomes undeniable.

It is impossible for London-Washington to be of any serious offensive threat to Tehran due to fear, the fear of a war much larger than the lost alliance envisioned, not to mention the fear of engaging Iranian units on other fronts. Fear and corruption are Tehran’s two greatest weapons, especially the enormously corrupt decision in London-Washington to halt the coalition outside Baghdad and let Saddam Hussein remain in 1991 until bases for Iran were constucted by the engineering firm headquarted in San Francisco by way of their London branch office to avoid the U. S. embargo against Iran. CNN showed the London branch office the day after the Gulf War ended and since then that engineering firm has lost more than 50 employees in Iraq. Tehran does not want their employees serving the Allied war effort. [WEBINDIA]

That is the reason the carrier groups the Pentagon has in the Persian Gulf are only prepared to react to any attack from Iran instead of attacking first. Iran will have heavy fighting all over the region before this month is over: Lebanon-Syria, Iraq, Israel-Gaza-West Bank. This is what Tehran calls the “Countdown”. It was never intended for just Israel alone. There was never any chance for Israel and the U.S. to mount any joint operation against Iran’s nuclear weapons program. That was just a White House-State Department media offensive.
