Caliber3USA: Bringing Israel and USA Closer Together

Caliber 3 is an Israeli academy for counter terror and security, founded in memory of Captain Hagai Haim Lev z”l killed in action in Gaza. It was founded by Colonel (Ret.) Sharon Gat, IDF Special Forces unit veteran. He is the CEO, and Caliber3USA is based on the original.

If we can admit, we can name only two countries that are protecting the world against evil, the United States and Israel.

Caliber 3 USA is an off shoot of Caliber 3 Israel. Its purpose is to encourage people to learn to defend against evil so they and their family are protected and safer. Beyond this, become a better human being. Imagine, if one person out of a 100 people crowd is well trained and is present in an active shooting scenario, the painful outcome may not exist at all or, be reduced to the very minimum.

More so, Caliber 3 USA sees itself to be ‘little Israel’ in the United States, bringing a small slice of the Jewish state to the heart of California.

As the story goes, Dario De-Luca and Robert Colucci, Believers Christian businessmen from San Diego County, California, who care a great deal about the Jewish state, were introduced to the Caliber 3 Israel concept while visiting Israel. They knew the time was ripe to emulate Caliber 3 Israel with a Caliber 3 USA.

On Friday, September 13, 2019, in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones and a house full of guests from Israel, owners of surrounding businesses and many local residents, Caliber 3 USA was formally opened.

Speaking with Scott L., a guest, about his impression of Caliber 3, he said to me: “I am overwhelmed. This is serious training for real life scenarios, ahead of its time with an awakened ring to it.”

Caliber 3 Essence

Caliber 3 teaches many self-defense aspects, with emphasis on Krav Naga, which is not martial art, rather, a practical way to protect oneself and family, invented by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Sharon Gat, an impressive person, eloquently spoke about the Caliber 3 modality and its purpose.

Caliber 3 was established to be the address for every Jew, in Israel and beyond, as well as any and all human beings. It is to where one comes to learn how to better protect himself/herself, his or her family and community, even country.

Caliber 3 Biblical Location and Its Crux

Caliber 3, founded by visionary people who believe one has to have a mission in life and nothing is impossible. It is located in Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem and in 2 miles proximity to Bethlehem. It is the ancient stomping ground of the Jewish Forefathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and where Kind David lived.

But, turning a desert land into a power house in 71 years is not just a miracle, it happened with God’s support, claims CEO Sharon.

To avoid possible heterodoxy and blasphemy of God’s presence, the Jewish nation should be ready to sacrifice lives in defense of the Land of Israel, in order to prevent the transgression of surrendering any parts of the holy Land that the Creator endowed the Jewish people.

Part of the Christian believers’ faith is deeply rooted in the biblical blessing given to Abram before he left Haran: “²I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. ³I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you; and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you.” – Genesis 12:3.

In order to enhance the Little Israel concept, in the Caliber 3 USA 2-story venue surroundings they planted the 7 species mentioned in the bible: wheat, barley, grape, fig, pomegranates, olive (oil) and date (honey). (Deuteronomy 8:8), their first fruits were the only acceptable offerings in the Temple.

You do not understand Israel if you leave God out of it. You will understand Caliber 3 concept if you do not leave God out of it.
