The cowardly and barbaric murder of British aid worker David Haines by ISIS has been strongly condemned by British Prime Minister David Cameron and the National Council of Resistance of Iran.
Ms Dowlat Nowrouzi, the UK Representative of NCRI expressed her deepest sympathies to Mr. Haines’ family and friends.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran has seen similar barbarity from the mullah of Iran, over many years. It plays out regularly, dealt out by the mullahs and their proxy, the shiite government of Iraq, against the unarmed residents of Camp Liberty, formerly Ashraf.
An NCRI statement said “This appalling and savage act demonstrates the fanatic and barbaric character of religious extremism and the serious threat it poses to the people in the Middle East and the world.”
Speaking about recent statements that indicated the USA may work with the Iranian regime, Ms. Nowrouzi said, “any comprehensive and sustainable strategy to dismantle and destroy extremist groups such as ISIS/ISIL in the Middle East, will ultimately fail if it engages the clerical regime in Iran. Islamic fundamentalism emanates from Iranian religious fascism.. Western co-operation with the Iranian regime will merely enhance the regime’s terrorist IRGC (Revolutionary Guard Corps), tasked with promoting the Iranian regimes expansionist foreign policy through international terrorism.”
After the murder of David Haines, the third recent murder claimed by ISIS, British Prime Minister David Cameron said that they would do all they could to catch his killers, and he condemned the beheading as “an act of pure evil.”
Mr Cameron said “We will do everything in our power to hunt down these murderers and ensure they face justice, however long it takes.”
