Modifying Mullahs’ Centrifuges a Dangerous Concession, Facilitates Drive to Nuclear Weapons
A report in The New York Times September 19, 2014 said, .” .. – Mixing face-saving diplomacy and innovative technology, (U.S.) negotiators are attempting a new approach, suggesting that the Iranians call in a plumber.
The idea is to convince the Iranians to take away many of the pipes that connect their nuclear centrifuges, the giant machines that are connected together in a maze that allows uranium fuel to move from one machine to another, getting enriched along the way. That way, the Iranians could claim they have not given in to Western demands that they eliminate all but a token number of their 19,000 machines.”
If this is true, Iran may have succeeded in helping to create chaos in the middle east as a smokescreen to extract more concessions from the west, allowing them to continue on their path to nuclear capability.
The Iranian Resistance says “this is a dangerous and unnecessary concession to the religious fascism ruling Iran and if it is carried out under any pretext, it would keep open the path for the mullahs’ deception and continuation of the project to obtain nuclear weapons.”
Over the past decade and more, negotiations with Iran have seen continual attempts by Iran’s mullahs to create chaos and other problems, for the purpose of using them as bargaining chips at a later time. Their goal has always been to create a pathway to nuclear weapons.
A Reuters story brought to light the fact that the mullahs are quite open about using their cooperation as a bargaining chip. They offered to assist against ISIS in return for “flexibility,” meaning looking the other way, on their nuclear issue.
“Iran can help in the fight against the ISIL terrorists … but it is a two-way street. You give something, you take something,” a senior Iranian regime official told Reuters on September 21.
The West appears not to have learned that any concession given to the mullahs only encourages them to ask for more. Appeasement is something Iran continually exploits. Deception is their middle name.
The Iranian Resistance says “By taking part in the campaign against ISIL, Tehran wants to compensate for the loss of its hand-picked minister in Iraq, i.e. Nouri-al-Maliki, and to expand its influence in the region and save its nuclear weapons program.”
They are clearly aware of the mullahs’ tactics, and the longer the world allows this to go on, the closer the mullahs get to achieving nuclear weapons capability. Then there will be no stopping this hegemon.
On September 1, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance said “Amid the crisis in Iraq, the mullahs are engaging in deceptive tactics to find a way out of the nuclear impasse. They want to either delay the signing of the final agreement or impose their demands on it, such that they would preserve their ability to obtain nuclear weapons. I warn that any agreement that does not include the complete implementation of UN Security Council resolutions, a total halt to enrichment and allowing of snap inspections will leave the path open for the regime to obtain nuclear arms.”
The opposition to the mullahs, The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) appears to be ignored by the U.S. State Department, even though this broad coalition of democratic Iranian organizations first revealed the Iranian regime’s clandestine nuclear weapons programme in 2002. Certainly, they have been ignored on the warnings and requests on the residents of Camp Ashraf – Camp Liberty, despite U.S. and UN obligations.
