This week, Sarah Michelle Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze, Jr. welcomes their second child, a son.
“Mother and baby are doing great” the actress’ representative told US Weekly. “And Charlotte is VERY excited to be a big sister.”
Sarah and Freddie, who has been married since 2002, are parents of daughter Charlotte, who recently turned three this month. The couple worked together on the hits I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed as Fred and Daphne.
Sarah is best known as Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, and recently starred and executive-produced CW’s short-lived Ringer. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Freddie became a teen heartthrob with films such as She’s All That. He then starred, created and executive-produced the short-lived ABC sitcom entitled Freddie, and was a regular on the final season of FOX’s 24.
