Prince Harry Launched Off of Horse in Charity Polo Game

A royal pain.

Prince Harry was thrown from his horse in the midst of a polo game for charity in Barbados.

According to the UK Telegraph, Prince Harry was partaking in the inaugural Sentebale Polo Cup, an event that will take place worldwide to raise money for his charity’s work in Lesotho, a country in South Africa.

In another report, the accident happened when his horse was making a sharp right turn when its’ legs slipped, throwing him off. He rolled a couple of times and got up, seemingly unscathed. Showing contempt for his accident, he slammed his polo mallet on the ground and punched his helmet.

Cilla Black, a well known entertainer in the UK, spent time with Harry at a fund raiser the night before. In a humorous twist to the story, she told the Telegraph “He told me last night somebody offered him 50,000 dollars to fall off his horse, I thought that was a bit bad, then somebody said I will pay you 100,000 dollars to stay on.”

She also added “Some people like men in uniform – I like polo players.” Watch out, Harry.
