For the bubblehead groupies of socialists like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, et al, they should look no further than Venezuela to see how vacuous their politics are. Watching the ongoing blackout of the country would do the trick even for the most empty-headed of the bunch.
The country is basically without power. That’s right, without power people can’t buy food, you can’t get fuel for a generator and hospitals are struggling to stay open. Does that sound like the paradise these morons describe as socialism?
Socialist Failure of Venezuela
Venezuela is a country in darkness. People are dying.
The last blackout lasted for six full days. Can one imagine the repercussions of that happening in the United States? These people are starving in a country that once was the gem of all South America.
This is a story that will not simply go away. The country is on the brink of total chaos and possibly civil war. The coverage by such stalwarts of the media like CNN and MSNBC is minimal at best. Oh, they cover what is happening, but on the other side of the coin, they fall all over themselves to get every utterance from pillars of intellect like Ocasio-Cortez.
There is a real sense of helplessness in this once oil-rich country. There is no sign of the “progressive” likes of Sean Penn who called the country “utopia” not long ago standing by then-dictator Hugo Chavez. The smugness of the left is shown in the misery of these people’s plight.
This is like the walking dead. This is like living in the apocalypse. Where are Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren with all this happening? They are making the rounds of the colleges where they profess their ideology to kids not old enough to realize the sham they are listening to.
These people can’t go to a cash machine. They can’t get on the internet. They cannot go to a shop and buy something they need. Sick and dying children might be suffering the worst.
Doctors in different hospitals speak of the struggle to keep intensive care equipment going. Can you imagine if this was happening here? Is the mainstream media bringing these sorts of questions up to the hack politicians who profess our need to become socialists?
Depending on Government
These people are literally in the hands of God. There is no other help to be had as the Chinese and Russians take sides against the U.S.-backed shadow government. Venezuelans are the puppets in the middle without any power; literally.
There is no way to check on friends and relatives because the mobile phone systems are down. Many regions in the country are virtually out of reach. Videos show women stockpiling water and cooking whatever food they has immediately, so it doesn’t go bad. Can you imagine that here?
Naturally the government officials responsible for this catastrophe blame America just like the socialists here do. Venezuela has been suffering from power shortages for at least 10-years and this is just the result of a huge infrastructure failing. That’s right, all the ‘free stuff’ socialists profess for the people does not exist.
Venezuela’s misery means that it is not uncommon to see children rummaging through the garbage for food. And as basic medical supplies and medicine run dangerously low, newborns and the elderly die unattended in Venezuelan hospitals.
Socialist Ocasio-Cortez
In the U.S. today, the Ocasio-Cortez’s try to sell you a new and better life under socialism. There is no such thing. It always ends the same way, and that is badly, a socialist failure.
