It is becoming crystal clear that former FBI Director Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russian collusion in the Trump administration, is on the wrong trail. The characters right in the middle of this international intrigue are Hillary Clinton, President Obama and the Clinton Foundation. While Mueller focuses on false accusations and innuendo around the hated Trump gang, the real culprits are right under his nose.
Mueller should recognize the cast of characters since he was the FBI director at the time the real Russian collusion occurred. It is not what the left and their media allies want to hear or investigate, and that includes Bob Mueller himself.
President Trump took to Twitter Thursday morning to make his first public comments about a badly held secret. It surrounded the renewed publicity involving the Obama-era uranium deal with Russia.
He tweeted, “Uranium deal to Russia, with Clinton help and Obama Administration knowledge, is the biggest story that Fake Media doesn’t want to follow!”
The president is right. It is not a story the Trump-hating media finds appealing. The repercussions of this bombshell are huge. Trump’s comments come in the wake of reports that the FBI has gathered intelligence concerning bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering dating from the months immediately prior to the Obama administration’s approval of a deal that saw Russia gain control over a significant amount of American uranium supplies.
And none of that involves Donald Trump.
This is most definitely not an MSNBC or CNN news story. There will have to be incontestable proof, and then some, for the liberal news media to even touch this major story. In the meantime, they are desperately trying to distract everyone with the Weinstein scandals.
The Senate Judiciary Committee has begun a probe into the Russia-Uranium matter. The Judiciary Committee attempted to gain access to an FBI informant who helped agents uncover the uranium deal to Russia, with Clinton help and Obama Administration knowledge.
There is little doubt that evidence made public so far clearly indicates that Russia gained control over a significant amount of American uranium supplies. Russian nuclear industry officials were involved with financial transference to the Clinton Foundation.
The media will be especially embarrassed that Trump also tweeted about the origins of a dossier about his alleged connections to Russia. That had been a long-running liberal media story. It is a fabrication put together by Christopher Steele, a former MI6 officer.
The media’s participation in uncovering the real truth of Russian collusion may become something the public will demand. Informed Americans have been subjected to month after month of blind alleys and dead ends on Trump’s participation. Now that the truth leads to their own people, the media will continue to ignore it. They will also do all they can within their power to minimize the damage.
Sadly for CNN, which used to tell us they were “the most trusted name in news,” almost nobody is watching. That means few will know whether they report the story or not. There aren’t even any crocodile tears flowing for the former 24-hours news titan.
