Bernie Attempts to Convince Educated Voters

The Russia hoax has taken a severe toll on the hysterical, ultra-partisan media that is an extension of the Democratic Party. As the number of viewers quickly fall to epidemic lows at CNN and MSLSD, Democratic presidential candidates must look elsewhere for anyone to listen.

A good example is Sen. Bernie Sanders, the foot-stomping communist, er … “socialist.” Unless he wishes to spew his ideas about free everything to an audience of crickets and sagebrush, he must engage “the enemy,” which in his case is Fox News.

That’s right, Bernie is now prostituting himself with the conservative network to reach more than a handful of ideologues in mom and dad’s basement already devoted to him. His first appearance on the ratings-leader, Fox News, came Monday night in a town hall-type format.

Trying his best not to be labeled a turncoat by the hysterical left, Bernie came out swinging; sort of. His opening remarks reflected his hypocrisy as the newest socialist millionaire and his reasoning for it was laughable to anyone with an IQ over 50.

Disrespectful Sanders

Bernie greeted the moderator and audience saying, “Not everyone thought I should come on this show. Your network (Fox) does not necessarily have great respect in my world, but I thought it was important for me to be here and have a serious discussion about serious issues.”

Anybody buying that? Sanders was there because he cannot find an audience on liberal media more than the size of Salem, OR. Besides, that audience is already convinced that the way to go is free everything at working American’s expense.

The big question is, where besides Fox can Bernie recruit new voters?

Educated Voters

The answer is nowhere, and the Fox News audience is not stupid. Trying to convince an intelligent audience that the way to go in this country is a Venezuela-type disaster is a great deal more difficult than selling the proverbial ice cubes to Eskimos. But you must give old Bernie credit for trying.

Sanders’ gesture to an educated a well-read audience was a calculated gesture. The dyed-in-the-wool communist needs Fox voters. About 12 percent of Trump voters in the 2016 presidential election voted for Sanders in the primary.

Of course, that was before Trump turned the economy around as president, defeated ISIS, brought unemployment to record lows and straightened the foreign policy ship around after Obama’s eight-year apology tour.

Can Bernie separate his former supporters from Trump? If he wins his party’s (what a joke since he is a registered independent) nomination, will they vote for him? He’ll have to do that while he pitches Medicare for all, the usual cry for higher taxes on the rich (monotonous), open borders and free everything for morons who think it all comes raining down from heaven.

Trump Record

Since Trump took office, the U.S. has added 491,000 manufacturing jobs, the fastest pace of U.S. manufacturing growth in a quarter-century. In Pennsylvania, a purple state, unemployment is down, and wages are up 6.6 percent.

Naturally, no matter what the actual reality is, Sanders attributes Barack Obama for this economic miracle. The usual criticism is that Trump’s tax cuts went to the wealthy and no access to health care. He is telling his audience that Trump has failed them.

Bernie’s biggest problem is this new audience. They read material other than far-left newspapers and watch “news” stations that are not, in reality, commentary for the uninformed. That audience is far more “independent” than Bernie, the independent communist.

The chances of Bernie Sanders convincing educated voters with his socialist giveaway offers are slim.
