For those who have been asleep for the last week, Cecil was a tourist favorite in Zimbabwe’s Hawange National Park. His friendly and outgoing nature provided joy to many of the park’s visitors.
Shortly after Cecil’s death, animal medium Karen Anderson announced on Facebook that she had connected with Cecil after his death.
Karen said that she reached out to Cecil because she “just wanted to let him know how loved and honored he is.”
Karen informed her audience that her conversation with Cecil was deeply moving and that it reduced her to tears.
According to the mystic, who offers psychic readings, Cecil would like to pass on the following message to those who mourn his passing.
“Let not the actions of these few men defeat us or allow darkness to enter our hearts. If we do then we become one of them. Raise your vibration and allow this energy to move us forward. What happened does not need to be discussed as it is what it is.”
The deceased lion’s message continued with a message of hope.
“Take heart my child, I am finer than ever, grander than before as no one can take our purity, our truth or our soul. Ever. I am here. Be strong and speak for all the others who suffer needlessly to satisfy human greed. Bring Light and Love and we will rise above this.”
Karen Anderson, the animal psychic, lives in Washington state. According to her website, she discovered her ability to communicate with animals when she was very young.
Meanwhile, Cecil’s memory continues to remembered across the globe. Aaron Blaise, one of the animators and illustrators behind Disney’s The Lion King, recently posted his moving tribute to Cecil on YouTube.
Cecil’s killer has been identified as Walter Palmer, a dentist from Minnesota. Few people have seen or heard from Palmer since the news broke. Palmer told the Star Tribune that “everything is fine” on 3 August but his whereabouts remains unknown.
