Operation River Gate, or Operation Bawwabatu Annaher for the Iraqis, saw approximately 350 Iraqi Security Force Soldiers working with 2,500 Marines, Soldiers and Sailors from Regimental Combat Team – 2. The patrols covered the cities of Haditha, Haqlaniyah and Barwana on October 6, 2005.

HADITHA, Iraq – Marines from 3rd Platoon, Company K, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, and Soldiers of the Iraqi Security Forces patrol the streets of Haditha, Iraq in search of terrorists and terrorist activities throughout the city.
