THE Online Network: The New Home For ‘All My Children’ and ‘One Life to Live’

Prospect Park is the company that brought the rights to All My Children (AMC) and One Life to Live (OLTL), but both soaps will make their debuts on TOLN: The Online Network (www.theonlinenetwork.com)

Rich Frank and Jeff Kwatinetz, the founders of Prospect Park, announced it in a statement on Tuesday, stating that besides AMC and OLTL, TOLN will have first-run entertainment and lifestyle shows, and will include reality shows, sitcoms, and dramas in the near future.

Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery) and Lindsey Hartley (Dr. Cara Castillo) have been the first regulars to signed on for the web edition of AMC, which recently ended its 41-year run on ABC last Friday. There have been rumored reports, though, that Susan Lucci declined the offer from Prospect Park to return as the grand dame diva Erica Kane, the Scarlett O’Hara of Pine Valley since 1970, yet the actress has yet to respond.

However, One Life, which ends its 43-year run on ABC in January, will not lose its grand dame with Erika Slezak crossing over online to Llanview as Victoria “Viki” Lord Davidson Buchanan Banks, along with her onscreen family that includes Melissa Archer (Natalie) and Jerry VerDorn (Clint). They’ll be joining Michael Easton (John McBain), Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer), and Ted King (Tomas Delgado), who were the first to signed with Slezak several weeks ago.

Created by Agnes Nixon, AMC and OLTL are expected to premiere on TOLN sometime early next year.
