Cote de Pablo Resigns from ‘NCIS’

“Tiva” fans are about to be disappointed, as Cote de Pablo decides to not renew her contract to return for NCIS‘ eleventh season.

The actress succeeded fan favorite Sasha Alexander’s Caitlin “Kate” Todd when she joined the top-rated procedural in the fall of 2005 as the sultry and seductive Ziva David, the half-sister of Ari Haswari, the arch-nemesis of Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) — and Kate’s killer.

Cote became a fan favorite herself — mostly due to her onscreen chemistry with Michael Weatherly’s Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo, Jr.

When we last saw Ziva, she avenged her father’s death, as she and the entire NCIS team resigned to protect Gibbs from prosecution.

However, Cote will return for the season premiere to conclude Ziva’s story arc, as NCIS begins its 11th season Tuesday, September 24 at 8pm on CBS.
