Burning Rubber With Fast Five

Get your motors running for next summer, because Vin Diesel and Paul Walker will be burning rubber once more with Fast Five, the fifth installment of The Fast and the Furious, the popular film series that has launched both of their careers. They’ll be joined by other alumni’s that includes Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson (2 Fast 2 Furious), Lucas Black (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift), and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the cop out to chase Brian O’Conner (Walker) and Dominic Toretto (Diesel), the outlaw street racing anti-heroes who are about to become family when Dom’s sister Mia (Brewster) becomes pregnant with Brian’s child.

Since 2001, The Fast & the Furious series has grossed almost half a billion dollars in the U.S. box office, and almost $960 million worldwide. In honor of the original’s 10th anniversary, Fast Five will hit the road on the big screen June 10, 2011.
