Shaolin Martial Arts Master Xiaojun Wang
Shaolin Martial Arts Master Xiaojun Wang, also known as XJ, has made his home in Los Angeles, California, and as a result, has opened the cities best Kung Fu School. Until now, the school was Chinatown’s best kept secret in downtown Los Angeles among the skilled and wise students that were fortunate enough to find and train with the master. Now, that is about to change, as Jin Wu Kung Fu is now introduced to the world with the partnering of A-list talent firm Starpower Management.
The Making of a Martial Arts Master
Xiaojun Wang, also known as XJ, was born in 1985 in the city of Dengfeng, China, located in the Henan province. He began training in the arts of Shaolin Kung Fu at the age of 8 years at a school called Shao Lin Si Wushu Xulian Jidi. The school is instructed by members of the Shaolin Temple, which is located right beside it. Each day at the school consisted of training for ten hours a day, six days a week, in an environment that resembled monastic living. He trained with the school for over ten years before competing for, and winning a place in the prestigious performance group of the Shaolin Temple. Only four contestants are chosen to join from over one thousand participants. He has been living in the United States and traveling worldwide with the group since March of 2006.
The Real ‘Kill Bill’
Hollywood Producer Quentin Tarantino’s film ‘Kill Bill,’ was widely popular. It focused on a martial arts master, starring Uma Thurman, and the late David Carradine, who starred in the early T.V. show ‘Kung Fu.’ Due to the success of the film, a sequel followed, and now, Part 3 is in the works. Now, those fortunate enough to live in or visit Los Angeles can actually have the chance of training with the real ‘Kill Bill,’ that is, the school of ‘Jin Wu Kung Fu,’ headed by Master XJ, where the real craft of Kung Fu as seen in the movies and real life is actually taught.
Master XJ – Weapons Master
Master XJ is proficient in and has mastered the weapons of staff, long sword, Kwan Dao, twin broadswords, three section staffs, whip chains; both single and double, bull whip, spear, and double hook swords.
Fighting Styles Master
Master XJ is also proficient in and has mastered the fighting styles of tiger, snake, monkey, scorpion and mantis, as well as Southern long-fist, Tai Ji Quan, soft and hard Qi Gong, Tong Bei, Xiao Hong, da Hong, Chang Quan, and Luo Han Quan. The hard Qi Gong that he has mastered allows him to do his specialty for his performances; ‘iron body.’
Iron Body
With ‘iron body,’ Master XJ is amazingly capable of having wooden poles broken on his arms, legs, back, stomach, groin; ‘iron crotch,’ bending a spear to the throat; he is able to push a car with the sharp part of a spear placed right on his throat, and being suspended mid-air on the top of four sharp spears, all without injury. XJ is is also able to coordinate fights with any of the above styles in any combination.
Martial Arts Action Star
Master XJ’s numerous past television credits include ‘Deadliest Warrior’ on Spike TV, ‘Fight Science’ on National Geographic T.V, ‘Let Me Entertain You,’ on ‘America’s Got Talent’ for NBC, and ‘The Art of War’ on The History Channel, as well as the T.V. show ‘Heroes’ on NBC for Sony, among more.
Master XJ has performed with the Shaolin group in Indonesia, Turkey, Qatar, China; nation-wide, over one dozen major cities in the United States, and is currently giving rare and exciting performing in Los Angeles, California.
