Student Promotes West Los Angeles College Through Video Interviews

Peter Allemann, a student at West Los Angeles College, who is a film producer and a talk show host, has been producing video interviews of faculty, to promote awareness of the college’s curriculum. Allemann who also goes by the pen name of Pete Allman has a long time record of interviewing celebrities in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, also producing his own half-hour television shows on Warner Cable and Fox 5 in Las Vegas.

Allman returned to Los Angeles six years ago, meeting Damian Chapa, thus producing several films for his company. It was “the right time” he says, to attend college for Communications. Going on his fifth semester, Allman has produced and also conducted some interviews with actor Sy Richardson, and the former school president of West Los Angeles College, Dr. Nabil Abu Ghazaleh and the active president Robert Sprague.

According to Allman, West L.A. College is one of 16 two-year colleges nationwide, to have a Dental Hygiene program, that was ingraciated by Vice President Joe Biden. He said there needs to be a campaign to enlighten the Los Angeles area about the “college on the hill.”

“The STEM program, and the Aviation and Dental program are programs that give an opportunity for students to get employed, without the frustration that some other occupations present. As for myself, I have found that the Communications field at West is excellent,” states Allman. The interviews with various faculty can be viewed on You tube on Allman’s channel and on the West Los Angeles College site.

Pete Allman, “The Man on the Scene,” is based in Marina del Rey, California, concentrating on producing feature films, television projects, and commercials. Pete also has an office in Las Vegas, which he visits occasionally.

Pete is also a restaurant critic, broadcast personality and celebrity interviewer. He produces inspirational messages for television and other media.

Of all the investigations he makes, we suspect he likes critiquing restaurants the most, because he can taste the food, savor the atmosphere, interact with people, and photograph all the goodies.
