Accelerating Education

Fusion LA is the first Los-Angeles based education accelerator for Israeli startup companies. Every six months the management team selectively accepts six teams to go through Fusion LA intensive mentorship-driven program. The goal of the company is to commercialize the participating companies’ products, “Americanize” their value propositions, and adapt their go-to-US market strategies.

The selected companies receive full three-month accelerator program that includes: $20K cash investment, free office space, US business address, US-based industry experts’ support system, introduction to investors and executives and networking opportunities.

Fusion LA is actively seeking Israeli early-stage-startup companies to join them in order to scale in the US market.

Nir Zioni is the Co-Founder & CEO of Class.Me, an innovative app that connects students, teachers and educational milieus and creates the first virtual, shared learning experience. Class.Me allows students to discuss and enrich each other in virtual classrooms, gives students extra support with lessons from professional tutors, at an affordable price, helps teachers and administrators assess each student’s learning level, and thus allow all students to realize and reach their best potential.

Nir, an entrepreneur with a background in finance and investments from Tel Aviv, Israel. He is in Los Angeles as part of the Fusion LA three month program.

Nir Zioni, the Co-Founder & CEO of Class.Me

I met Nir to learn about Class.Me.

Nir: “It all started three years ago with Amir Lis, a mathematics teacher, now the company Co-Founder & COO & VP Product. While on vacation, Amir got his class together on WhatsApp, Facebook, WeChat, and Messenger in order to tutor them for an upcoming exam. The tutoring experiment and experience over the Internet turned to be a total disarray. That is when Class.Me was born its purpose was and is to provide a chat-up virtual platform for students to study together.”

“How does it work” I asked Nir.

What makes Class.Me so powerful-Class.Me increases grades

Nir: “The school pays for the app program. Online social learning centers are the way for schools to help teachers, students and private tutors to study and communicate after hours. The results, they learn better.”

“Class.Me, for the use of 5th graders and up to university students, offers solutions that combine platform with access to market network of tutors who offer help to teachers. More so, it offers analytic platform that analyzes all that is taking place in class and then sends actionable insights to all the relevant parties such as the school’s principle, teachers, educators and bureaucrats.”

Nir is proud to announce that there is no other tutoring solution to match Class Me. Since its launch in December 2018, in the past five month,s Class.Me gained the market of 70 schools in New York City and Los Angeles; 500 classes and 35,000 users have become Class.Me tutoring family, and that is just the beginning.

Since Class.Me is a totally new learning approach and experience, the company offers two month and two preparatory exams fee-free tryout.

I remember the days when I was a student. I got together with a classmate to learn for an exam. We read the curricula from a conventional book, we made notes and highlighted some text in the book, while feeling guilty that the book would lose its used book market value. We tested each other till the wee hours of the night up until we almost fell asleep at the desk.

Now desks, books, and pencils are replaced by Tablets, smart phones with apps and online platforms. I just wonder if this type of learning produces smarter, more educated adults.

But Class.Me is certainly a breakthrough platform that creates a remarkable tutoring and education connectivity.
