Think hard about this.
The mainstream media are having a field day telling anyone who will listen how bad a government shutdown will be. The sky is falling and there is no equal time for why it may be necessary to wake up clueless Americans that don’t see the politics of the “Obamacare at all costs” weasels.
Why is the president so adamant about the entire law passing through the House today or face the government shutdown? Wasn’t it Obama himself who made the decision to delay the employer mandate for a year and change approximately 14 other pieces of this massive, intrusive law?
Of course, it is all the fault of Republicans, even though Obama and the Democrats refuse to negotiate. Politics is all about negotiation, yet their refusal to do so makes them the good guys?
When the partial shutdown begins, 800,000 government employees will be furloughed and around a million government personnel labeled “essential” will work without pay.
No matter where the blame is placed, the stock market doesn’t care. All it cares about is that something bad is happening. The Dow opened 100 points lower than the previous close.
Has anyone in this lynch mob thought about the repercussions of this freedom-killing, way of life changing, government smothering piece of legislative garbage?
Think about this if nothings else:
Should this law go forward and “force” uninsured Americans to sign up for health insurance, the younger generation that is expected to fund the older generation won’t sign up at all.
Why? Why should they?
The pre-condition clause of any health care policy has been banned from the new law. Yes, the left is cheering this move and it sounds so good … on paper. But think about this, even if the fine for not signing up is $100 or a $1000, isn’t it the smart move for younger people to pay that relatively small price to avoid massive insurance premiums and then sign on if something goes south with their health?
Think about it.
As a country, are we willing to go the way of putting young people in jail for not buying insurance? If not, the law is already a flop. The entire system will collapse causing the country to turn to a government-run health care system and a huge national tax for its upkeep.
For those who are not simply knee-jerk Obama die-hards, was this the plan all along?
Wake up America. If you like the post office and your local DMV, you will love government health care administered by faceless bureaucrats watching the clock for their quick 5 pm exit.
Are you listening, Nancy “Pass the bill and then we’ll see what it says” Pelosi?
