The World’s Collective Antipathy Toward Israel

A leaning article on ‘Lessons of Netanyahu’s triumph’

Israeli-Jews and Jews to the world: what did we do to you?

Remember, when we, Israelis and Jews, say enough is enough, we mean it!

All of us learn ‘Lessons of Netanyahu’s triumph’, every Israeli and every fair minded person in the four corners of the world needs to be acquainted with this writing and then stand firm behind the right of the Israeli-Jews to live and defend themselves.

On his May 2011 visit to the United States, unlike what many claim, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, did not pick up a fight with President Obama. Netanyahu simply said to the American People, Washington and the entire world, “Enough already, we’ve had quite enough of this dangerous nonsense.”

Israel today is the target of an unprecedented, ever escalating campaign to demonize and delegitimize it.

This week dozen of towns in Scotland have decided to ban Israeli books from their public libraries. One Scottish town went even further and has decided to post signs, calling for its residents to boycott Israeli products and put a distinguishing mark – perhaps a ‘yellow star’ on all Israeli products sold in local stores for the purpose of warning its resident to stay away from them. Israelis and Jews shake their heads and wonder, what did we do to the Scots?

In San Francisco, California, USA, there is a proposition on the Fall elections’ ballot to ban circumcision. The proposition would make all circumcision including Jewish ritual, a criminal offense forbidding to carry out the oldest Jewish religious ritual from Forefather Abraham times. Offenders will be punished up to a year in prison and a fine of up to $1,000. Israelis and Jews shake their heads and wonder, what did we do to the people of San Francisco?

To me it seems that everywhere we, Jews, look, we are told that we have no right to exist! From Ramallah to Gaza, to Egypt, to Scotland, Norway, to Britain and San Francisco, we are told that we are evil and had better give up the store, our Land, our sovereignty, just die!

And then, to top it all, Obama, the president of the United States, a country that Israelis and Jews expect to be fair minded on the State of Israel’s issues, took to the stage and told Israel that Israelis have to surrender their ability to defend themselves in order to make room for a Palestinian state. The statement encourages terrorists to destroy Israel and kill all Jews. Bravo the man at the helm of the American Nation.

So, Netanyahu, in Washington said, “Enough already, we’ve had quite enough of this dangerous nonsense.”

And Israelis, Jews and Israel’s supporters finally got a tiny break. The Prime Minister of the only Jewish State on earth, the target of every anti-Semite and villain on earth gave us all a sense of being. Netanyahu restored in all of us some of the feelings that one Israeli prime minister after another for years. He took away from us in the most indignant manner. We finally felt things we haven’t felt for a long time and were sorely missing. We felt empowered. We felt we had a voice. We felt proud. We felt we had a leader and we felt relieved. We no longer need to pretend that all is hunky-dory. We can and we will dissent.

Keep it up Prime Minister Netanyahu. Keep it up Israel! Let us all Keep It Up, keep up out right. Each one of us leadership will empower the Nation of Israel. Keep It Up.
